Job Details:
The Airfreight Billing Supervisor oversees the billing process for Airfreight operations ensuring accuracy and efficiency in invoicing and payment collection. He/She will manage a team of Operations Finance specialists and maintain billing procedures. Key responsibilities include billing of services invoicing and liaising with other departments to ensure accurate billing.
Job Description:
- Lead oversee train and support a team of 2 executives for billing activities
- Overseeing the entire billing process from data entry to invoicing and payment collection.
- Ensuring all billing is accurate timely and compliant with company policies and regulations.
- Collaborating with traffic controllers and other relevant teams to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure accurate work orders.
- Generating reports on billing performance identifying areas for improvement and analyzing billing trends.
- Ensuring proper documentation and record-keeping for all billing transactions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Education: STPM Diploma Degree in related field
- Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of experience in airfreight operations and billing with relevant qualifications.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of airfreight documentation IATA cargo guidelines and relevant regulations.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective team management and client interaction.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze and resolve billing discrepancies and issues effectively.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to lead motivate and guide a team of billing specialists.
- Proficiency in Systems: Familiar with Cargowise logistics systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
