Job Summary

Company Background:

We are representing a well-established client in the electronic components and solutions industry. Our client is currently seeking a proactive Business Analyst to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills proven business analysis experience and excellent communication.

Responsibilities:

Reporting Support: Assist in preparing reports dashboards and data visualizations using available tools and templates.
Data Handling: Collect clean and validate data from various sources to ensure consistency and accuracy.
Requirement Gathering: Support senior analysts in understanding user requirements and translating them into basic analytical tasks or prototypes.
Process & Automation Assistance: Participate in reviewing existing business processes and identifying opportunities for improvement automation or AI tool adoption.
Ad Hoc Requests: Provide support on ad hoc tasks and project-based assignments as directed.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in information systems Computer Science Business Analytics Statistics or related fields.
Internship or project experience related to data analysis or automation is a plus.
Proficient in Excel (pivot tables formulas charts).
Basic knowledge of SQL or Python.
Exposure to Power BI Tableau or other BI tools is a plus.
Familiarity with automation tools or AI concepts is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Must be willing to work in Penang island.
