Job Summary
Job Responsibilities:
- Design mechanical systems such as pumping system HVAC chilled water plumbing
- and fire protection in line with project requirements.
- Develop P&IDs system layouts and detailed drawings using CAD software.
- Perform equipment selection load calculations and system sizing.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes and client specifications.
- Support process design activities for industrial or plant-based construction.
- Collaborate with electrical engineers and construction teams.
- Oversee mechanical installation works and ensure quality and safety compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve design and on-site issues.
- Support testing commissioning and handover of mechanical systems.
- Prepare technical documentation specifications and progress reports.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in mechanical/process design and construction.
- Proficient in software knowledge in AutoCAD Revit and HVAC design tools Ms
- Project/Primavera.
- Strong understanding of mechanical codes safety standards and process flow principles.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Registered Graduate Engineer with Board of Engineer (BEM) Malaysia.
- Possess project management skill.
- Willing to travel and be posted outstation
- Self-motivated able to work with minimum supervision.
- Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines to complete assignment.
