Job Summary

Job Responsibilities

Take primary responsibility working very closely with APAC design team plan for constructability of New Data Center Build / Major fit-out from inception till RFS.
Able to communicate MEP high level solutions with external consultants project team (internal & external) facilities operation team product team and clients.
Understand conceptual design and build of green field data centers and contribute to the successful delivery of projects.
Collaborate with other team members and analyse OTT / Hyperscale customers specifications and requirement to support product / pre-sales team on respond to various data center MEP facility solutions Q&A to win deal.
Manage construction project progress maintain performance standards and optimise budgets and increase efficiency.
Capable to read analyse and review technical drawings schematics and technical documents.
Occasionally assist / support in Data Center fit out projects.
Work with APAC team members on knowledge sharing on all critical equipment matters such as generator UPS Switchboards Cooling Fire protection security system etc.
Coordinate and manage engineering documentations in professional manner.
Participate in GDC Sustainability initiatives.

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
Prefer candidates from MEP industry or experience in handling projects which relevant to Data Center facilities.
Any Data Center relevant professional certs will have added advantage. (e.g.: Uptime / TIA / etc.)
