Job Summary

About the Role:

To support the Associate Investment Director and Client Service Teams to deliver gold standard implementation and trading practices. To build trusted and influential relationships with clients media and agency partners. To deliver best practice client service innovation and market leading work across both offline and digital media.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Media Booking & Administration:
  • Accurately input media booking entries into the Pegasus system within 24 hours of confirmation.
  • Check proformas against media plans and supplier contracts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Manage invoice queries and ensure resolution within 5 days
  • Supplier Relationship Management:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with media owners.
  • Attend supplier presentations and WIP meetings actively participating in discussions and providing updates on current or upcoming client activity
  • Media Buying:
  • Receiving campaign briefs from client service team interpreting and interrgogating those briefs in order to brief out to media vendors within agreed SLAs
  • Evaluating media owner responses and negotiating strong value/best in market pricing based on client budgets
  • Preparing recommendations back to client service based on briefed objectives.
  • TV Buying :
  • CPT setting to deliver better than market pricing and/or achieve cost guarantees
  • Buying airtime and ensuring all campaign objectives are met within agreed tolerance thresolds.
  • Adhering to budgets as per media plan and ensuring 100% accuracy of buy sheets
  • Ongoing monitoring with pre and post analysis of TV campaigns
  • Audit management
    • Working collaboratively with Associate Investment Director to deliver cost tracking reports as per client requirements
    • Attending 3rd party audit presentations and reviewing results providing feedback.
  • Media recommendations:
  • Supporting the Associate Investment Director in preparation of annual trading approach for key clients
  • Team management
  • Provide training and ongoing support to any direct reports
  • Conduct weekly WIPs with direct reports to manage workflow
  • Conduct 6 weekly check ins
  • Goal setting to hit progession KPIs
  • Other Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of internal processes and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to gain knowledge of the media industry.
  • Attend all relevant training sessions for media and finance systems
  • Update timesheets on a weekly basis

Role Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years experience in an Investment/Trading related role
  • Minimum 1 year experience managing junior team members
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint).
  • Proficiency with trading tools including TVMAP ETAM and Pegasus
  • Strong relationship skills particularly with managing media owner relationships
  • Ability to confidently communicate with and present to clients
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
