Role Summary and Impact
Talent Identification.
Definition of Influencer Mix: Structure balanced campaigns between Mega-influencers (for mass reach) Micro/Nano influencers (for specific niches) and KOLs (key opinion leaders).
Briefing: Translate business objectives into creative instructions that influencers can execute without losing their essence.
Contract Negotiation: Manage usage rights so that influencer content can be used in other media (paid media OOH etc.).
Production Oversight: Review and approve scripts storyboards and final drafts ensuring that brand guidelines are followed.
Community Management: Coordinate with influencers to respond to key comments or participate in real-time dynamics during events (such as FIFA events).
Activations: Implement campaigns focused on sustainability or community ensuring that the message is genuine and organic.
Event Coverage: Manage influencers on-site for large events (concerts soccer games) coordinating logistics access and immediate deliverables.
Brand Safety Monitoring: Constantly monitor that selected influencers are not involved in controversies that affect the brands reputation.
Performance Reporting: Prepare monthly and campaign-specific executive reports comparing results against industry benchmarks.
Administrative Control: Ensure compliance with WPP billing and payment processes for suppliers and talent.
Skills and Experience
Bachelors degree in marketing Advertising Communication or related field.
At least 5 years of experience in influencer marketing.
Experience:
Brand Alignment (Brand Equity): Ability to translate the brands global tone of voice into the organic language of creators ensuring that content does not appear to be traditional advertising.
Ecosystem Vision: Understanding how influencer marketing integrates with other areas.
Budget and ROI Management: Efficient management of budgets (influencer fees vs. production) and ability to demonstrate return on investment beyond likes.
Proficiency in Platforms and Algorithms: In-depth knowledge of TikTok Instagram (Reels) and YouTube and how success metrics vary across each platform.
Use of Influencer Marketing Tools: Proficiency in platforms such as CreatorIQ or similar for profile discovery and auditing (detection of fake followers).
Data Analysis: Ability to interpret specific KPIs:
Negotiation and Contracting: Ability to negotiate terms of exclusivity image rights and deliverables (Usage Rights) with talent agencies.
Crisis Management: Ability to respond to controversies related to an influencer to protect the brands Social License.
Storytelling: Ability to co-create scripts with influencers that feel authentic but meet communication objectives.
Compliance and Legal: Within the brand compliance with responsible marketing standards (especially in relation to minors and health).
Executive Agility: Ability to manage multiple simultaneous campaigns under strict delivery times.
