Loyola Medical Center located in the western suburbs and approximately 35 minutes from downtown Chicago. Easy access from I290 and I55.Come be a part of the transformation happening at Loyola Medicine. New state of the art Regional Clinical Laboratory. The new lab enables greater operational efficiencies improved turnaround times to support future growth and expansion into emerging technologies and lab testing methodologies.

Hours:
- Days
- 7:00am - 3:30pm
- M-F Rotating weekends and holidays among team
- Area: HLA/FLOW
- Location: Loyola Medical Center Maywood IL
About the Job
Heres what youll do
Operations
- Enter patient orders accurately and verify patient identity.
- Receive label and process specimens appropriately including preparing sendouts to reference labs.
- Assess specimen acceptability and support costefficient operations.
- Perform contract management LIS registrations and maintain required documentation.
Customer Service
- Provide courteous efficient support to patients families clinicians and internal departments.
- Answer calls promptly and communicate accurate information on specimen collection and processing.
Reporting
- Print review and distribute daily reports; resolve issues and make necessary system corrections.
Here is what youll need
Required:
- High School Diploma
- Less than one year of previous job-related experience
- Specimen management and problem solving
- Excellent communication with physicians and clinics

Pay Range: $20.00 $26.00per hour
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience qualifications education location licensure certification requirements and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
