About the position
Reporting to the UDRH Executive Officer the UDRH Coordinator provides strategic coordination governance support and operational leadership across the University Department of Rural Health (UDRH) portfolio. The role supports high-quality rural student placements effective partnerships with regional health services and a positive student experience across the rural training pathway.
La Trobe University receives Australian Government funding through the Rural Health Multidisciplinary Training (RHMT) program as a University Department of Rural Health (UDRH). This program supports rural and remote training for health students builds evidence to strengthen rural training models and contributes to improved health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities by growing the future rural health workforce.
The UDRH Coordinator ensures program delivery meets funding requirements while aligning with University and School priorities with a strong focus on collaboration continuous improvement and impact in regional communities.
