Job Summary

Job Description:

The Call Center Representative at Ascendant Insurance Solutions is the main point of contact for customers policyholders and prospects. Responsibilities include handling inbound and outbound calls providing information on insurance policies assisting with claims inquiries processing policy changes and delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer inbound calls and respond to inquiries regarding insurance policies coverage billing and claims.
  • Make outbound calls for follow-ups renewals policy updates and customer satisfaction surveys.
  • Explain insurance products coverage options and policy terms clearly and professionally.
  • Process policy changes such as endorsements cancellations reinstatements and updates to personal information.
  • Assist customers with claims reporting and provide status updates.
  • Maintain accurate customer records in CRM and policy management systems.
  • Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and company guidelines.
  • Resolve customer complaints efficiently and escalate complex issues when necessary.
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics including call handling time quality assurance scores and customer satisfaction ratings.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a call center customer service or insurance environment preferred.
  • Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with CRM systems.
  • Ability to handle high call volumes and multitask effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.

Desired Experience:

Maximum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
