Description of Work

The primary purpose of this position as required by the Older Americans Act is to protect and secure the rights benefits and autonomy of older individuals. The Legal Assistant Developer will implement the requirements of the Older Americans Act as it relates to the provision of legal services created to safeguard the rights and protections of older adults. The individual will also be responsible for the review and oversight of rules governing aging programs and services within the Divisions scope of work and authority.

Salary Range: $55221 - $96639

Recruitment Range: $55221 - 73101

The Knowledge Skills and Abilities/ Management Preferences are not required. Applicants who possess the following skills are preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience working with older adults the aging network legal service providers or organizations that serve disabled and vulnerable populations.
  • Experience in developing and conducting training for audiences of various skill levels and familiarity with the information presented.
  • Adept at handling multiple projects or assignments with competing deadlines.
  • Experience in convening and coordinating work groups.

This position is funded in part through federal funds.

This position will close at 11:59 p.m. the night before the end date.
