Job Summary

Responsible for operating coating equipment to apply coatings to manufactured parts in accordance with quality standards and production specifications.

Job Details

Position Type: Hourly Full Time

Work Hours: 2nd Shift Monday Friday 2:30pm 11:00pm

Pay Range: $17.00 - $19.00/hour depending on experience Plus $2.00/hour shift premium for 2nd shift

Work Location: Metform - Extrusion Sciences (2551 Wacker Road in Savanna)

Reports to: Production Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

Operate and monitor coating machines to ensure proper application of coatings.
Transport parts to and from designated areas using a forklift ensuring proper loading and unloading.
Adjust machine settings to optimize efficiency and maintain quality.
Record production data including quantities and machine settings.
Work with team members and supervisors to meet production targets.
Adhere to Safety Environmental and Quality policies.
Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Skills/Competencies

Industrial painting.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Demonstrates self-sufficiency and the ability to complete tasks autonomously.

Qualifications (Required)

Education: High School Physical Requirements
Ability to lift push or pull up to 50 lbs.
Prolonged standing bending and walking for extended periods.
Exposure to high temperatures loud noise and industrial chemicals.
