Job Summary
We are working with a high-performing independent school in Barnet to find a scholarly and articulate Teacher of RE for a permanent full-time position. Starting ASAP the school is looking for a specialist who can deliver high-quality Religion Philosophy and Ethics (RPE) lessons. The department is a hub of intellectual rigour encouraging students to engage with global faiths and complex ethical debates in a tranquil well-ordered setting.
The Role
Teach RPE across Key Stages 3 and 4 with potential for A-Level Philosophy.
Lead inquiry-based seminars that challenge students critical thinking.
Contribute to the schools inclusive pastoral programme and assemblies.
Maintain high standards of academic attainment through rigorous assessment.
The Person
QTS and a degree in Theology Philosophy or Religious Studies.
The school is unable to offer visa sponsorship; candidates must have the right to work in the UK.

Salary & Benefits The school pays according to its own independent payscale. Salary will be determined based on experience but if successful can be negotiated. Features an attractive pension scheme and on-site parking.
