Job Summary
ARQUIMEA we are a technology company operating globally and providing innovate solutions and products in highly demanding sectors.
Our areas of activity are Aerospace Defense & Security Big Science Biotechnology and Fintech.
In ARQUIMEA AEROSPACE DEFENCE & SECURITY develops safer and more reliable defense systems through technology including unmanned aerial systems (UAVs) sensing systems command and control software and aiming systems.
We are seeking a Project Manager who will take part in cutting-edge technology projects leading their planning and execution to ensure deadlines budgets and quality standards are met. They will coordinate multidisciplinary teams and act as a liaison between different departments and stakeholders ensuring the successful achievement of the projects objectives.
Tasks to be performed:
Coordinate as main responsible the complete life of the projects assigned: planning execution and closure.
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time within scope and within budget with the quality standards and procedures of the company.
Develop project scopes and objectives involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility and appropriate risk management.
Coordinate project communications keeping a close interaction with project stakeholders as subcontractors partners and customers.
Identify and manage project risks and their mitigation actions.
Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope schedule and costs.
Report and escalate to management as needed.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Required skills experience and candidate profile:
Education:
Level Degree: University degree in Engineering. Specialization in Aerospace Electronics Mechanical Telecommunications or equivalent.
Required skills experience and candidate profile:
Knowledge of Project Management methodologies (e.g. PMI methodologies). PMP certification is highly desirable.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies is desirable.
Proficient in MS Office Suite.
Proficient in MS Project. Experience in Project Server is desirable.
Proactive autonomous and team player.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Comfortable dealing with customers and suppliers
Proficient in English.
Eligible to work in the EU.
Experience:
Relevant experience (more than 4 years) managing engineering projects. Experience in Defence sector projects is desirable.
The position is located in our Headquarters of Torrejón de Ardoz (Madrid).
