About the Role
We are hiring experienced Rope Access Technicians with SPRAT or IRATA certification to support high-access construction operations across Calgary. This is not a window washing role the work involves complex construction tasks performed at height including support on building structures industrial environments and commercial sites.
The ideal candidate is highly safety-focused technically skilled and comfortable working in demanding environments as part of a coordinated team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform safe rope access operations in accordance with SPRAT or IRATA best practices
- Support installation repair and inspection tasks on building structures and construction assets
- Assist with envelope installations structural steel work glazing support rigging and general trade activities at height
- Set up monitor and maintain rope access systems and related equipment
- Complete daily safety paperwork equipment logs and hazard assessments
- Communicate clearly with site leadership to coordinate task execution and access plans
- Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards while adhering to project timelines
Requirements
- Valid SPRAT or IRATA certification (Level 1 2 or 3)
- 3 years of relevant experience working at height in construction or industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of fall protection and rope access rescue procedures
- Physically capable of working at height and with tools/equipment for extended periods
- Ability to work well in a team and follow supervisory direction
- Reliable transportation to sites in Calgary and surrounding areas
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
Work Conditions:
This is a full-time role typically Monday to Friday (40 hours/week). Job sites are located within Calgary. Reliable transportation to and from sites is expected.
Overtime may be offered based on project needs and is paid according to provincial labour laws.
