Position Overview

NurseAmerica is seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse for a day-shift travel assignment in Utica NY. This role is ideal for a strong Med Surg RN with post-surgical experience who is comfortable floating and managing adult patient populations in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Common Diagnoses:

Post-surgical abdominal pain
Cholelithiasis
Osteoarthritis
Fractures
Back pain
Bariatric (morbid obesity) surgery cases

Equipment Used:

IV pumps
NG tubes
Feeding tubes

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of Med Surg RN experience
Travel experience required
Active New York RN License
Current AHA BLS certification
EPIC EMR experience required
Must be willing to float
