Summer Intern - Connected Driving World Models
Mountain View CA

Job Summary:

We are looking for a PhD student in Computer Science Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline to support research and development in Connected Driving World Models.

What Youll Be Doing:

Develop and evaluate AI-based World Models for connected and automated driving systems.
Explore generative and latent-space models (e.g. diffusion models VAE-style world models).
Conduct experiments using simulation environments and/or logged real-world driving data.

Required Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline with a focus on AI / Machine Learning
Strong background in Machine Learning and Deep Learning
Experience with simulation platforms such as CARLA
Proficient programming skills in Python and common ML/DL libraries (e.g. TensorFlow PyTorch etc.)
Ability to engage in general research activities including problem definition data analysis and communicating findings through written reports and presentations

Note: This is a Summer Internship opportunity only.

Relocation Assistance: A one-time $2000 relocation stipend is available for students who reside more than 50 miles from the Mountain View site and would need to relocate to the area.
