Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Support and lead mechanical aspects of capacity additions line installations startup and debug
- Drive process improvements trials experimentation and data analysis for ribboning buffering stranding and jacketing processes
- Design and implement mechanical solutions to improve equipment performance reliability and safety
- Troubleshoot diagnose repair align test and calibrate mechanical systems and equipment
- Collaborate with process engineers operators vendors and cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues
- Support documentation training scrap reduction cost reduction and spare parts management
Requirements:
- Associates degree required
- 3 years of experience with new equipment installations in manufacturing environments
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments with multiple priorities
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Willingness to travel between Newton NC and Hickory NC locations
