Job Summary

Job Title: Process Engineer II

Location: Newton NC/100% Onsite

Duration: 10 Months

Job Type: Contract

Maximum Submissions per Supplier: 3

Note: Immigration Status: Must be eligible to work in the US for a minimum of 18 months. Local candidates are preferred but not required. Interview Process: Interviews will be held via Teams with 2 or 3 engineering leaders. For local candidates selected an on-site interview may be requested before finalizing decision. Work Schedule: Typical 40 hours per week. May require working weekends/holidays or longer days to support project schedule. Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Support equipment startup and process qualification through hands-on testing and data collection
  • Design execute and analyze experiments to improve line performance and product quality
  • Identify root causes of manufacturing issues and implement process improvements
  • Apply SPC DoE and Six Sigma methods to reduce variability defects and improve throughput
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support technology deployment and standard work development
  • Ensure safe work practices and compliance with manufacturing standards

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Chemical Mechanical Materials or Industrial Engineering
  • Experience completing projects in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong data analysis visualization and decision-making capabilities
  • Ability to manage changing priorities and multitask effectively
  • Self-starter with strong collaboration and influencing skills
