Job Description
Value Technology is looking an experienced Oracle Cloud HCM Benefits Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead and support the implementation configuration and ongoing optimization of Oracle Cloud Benefits. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Benefits administration and cross-functional exposure to other Oracle HCM modules working closely with HR business stakeholders and technical teams.
This is an onsite role in Chicago requiring direct client interaction and ownership of Benefits-related solution delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design configuration and implementation of Oracle Cloud HCM Benefits module.
- Gather and analyze business requirements related to benefits eligibility plans programs and enrollments.
- Configure benefit plans programs options eligibility profiles and rates in Oracle Cloud.
- Support Open Enrollment and Life Event processing.
- Participate in end-to-end Oracle Cloud Benefits full life-cycle implementations including design build test deploy and post-go-live support.
- Collaborate with Core HR Payroll Absence and Compensation teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Perform Benefits data migration validation and reconciliation activities.
- Support UAT defect resolution and production readiness activities.
- Assist with Benefits-related integrations reports and extracts.
- Provide post-production support enhancements and ongoing optimization.
- Prepare functional documentation configuration workbooks and training materials.
- Act as the Benefits SME providing guidance to business users and project teams.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in Oracle Cloud HCM with strong emphasis on Benefits.
- Oracle Benefits Cloud Certification (mandatory).
- Experience in minimum 2 full life-cycle Oracle Cloud Benefits implementations.
- Strong hands-on experience configuring Oracle Cloud Benefits modules.
- Solid understanding of Benefits administration processes and best practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Cross-Functional Exposure (Required)
- Functional exposure and integration experience with other Oracle HCM modules including:
- Core HR (Global HR)
- Payroll
- Absence Management
- Compensation
- Time and Labor
- Experience working with technical teams on integrations reports and data conversions.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting Open Enrollment cycles in Oracle Cloud.
- Exposure to HCM Extracts BI Publisher and HDL.
- Experience working in onsite client-facing roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
