Job Summary

Value Technology is looking an experienced SOLACE Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Solace PubSub messaging platforms cloud deployments (AWS preferred) and event-driven architectures. The ideal candidate will have experience engineering configuring and administering Solace environments while supporting enterprise-grade messaging solutions in hybrid cloud environments.

This role requires strong troubleshooting skills infrastructure automation knowledge and the ability to provide L3 support and architectural guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Engineer configure and administer Solace PubSub messaging environments.
• Architect and deploy Solace PubSub / Advanced Event Mesh in AWS or hybrid cloud environments.
• Design and implement event-driven architectures including event mesh topic hierarchies and dynamic routing strategies.
• Configure brokers message VPNs queues topics subscriptions and client connections.
• Ensure high availability security monitoring compliance and performance optimization of messaging systems.
• Integrate Solace with Kafka JMS MQTT REST and microservices ecosystems.
• Troubleshoot messaging issues related to latency throughput message durability and failover.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform Ansible or equivalent IaC tools.
• Provide L3 production support incident resolution root cause analysis (RCA) and performance tuning.
• Conduct proof-of-concepts (POCs) and knowledge transfer sessions for internal teams.
• Collaborate with DevOps cloud and application teams for seamless deployment and integration.

Required Qualifications

• 8 years of overall IT experience.
• 1 2 years of strong hands-on experience with Solace PubSub messaging.
• Experience deploying and managing Solace in AWS cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of RedHat Linux administration.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Korn Shell Perl or equivalent (Bash/Python).
• Experience designing and supporting event-driven and messaging architectures.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with TIBCO IBM MQ IBM ACE or other messaging middleware platforms.
• Knowledge of EKS Kubernetes or OpenShift container platforms.
• Familiarity with AWS certifications (DevOps SysOps Solutions Architect).
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation practices.
