Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Workday Integrations Manager to lead the design development and support of integrations between Workday and enterprise systems for the State of Rhode Island DOA ERP Support Team. This role is fully onsite in Providence RI and requires strong hands-on expertise with Workday integration tools Finance HCM and Payroll modules.

The ideal candidate will act as a technical leader responsible for delivering scalable secure and high-performance Workday integrations while collaborating closely with HR IT Finance and business stakeholders. This position also plays a strategic role in defining the Workday integration roadmap and best practices across the organization.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Workday Integration Expertise

Strong experience with Workday EIBs Core Connectors REST/SOAP web services.
Hands-on knowledge of Workday Studio.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in XML XSLT JSON.
Experience with scripting or development using Python and/or JavaScript for custom integrations.

Business & Functional Knowledge

Deep understanding of Finance HCM and Payroll business processes within Workday environments.
Ability to map business workflows to technical integration solutions.

Project & Delivery Management

Experience gathering validating and delivering solutions against business requirements.
Strong ownership of integration delivery timelines and quality.

Communication & Collaboration

Excellent stakeholder communication skills across technical and functional teams.
Ability to work with leadership and operational users effectively.

Education & Certifications

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
Workday Integration Certification Preferred.

Experience Requirements

6 years of hands-on Workday integration experience.
Prior experience supporting ERP environments with Finance HCM and Payroll modules.
