Overview

Our client is seeking a senior SAP ABAP Technical Lead to support a logistics-focused initiative within their SAP environment. This role will play a key part in implementing a vendor drop-ship process (Longflow) to support new shipment flows tied to is a hands-on technical leadership role working with a small experienced team and coordinating closely with offshore development resources.

Key Responsibilities

Lead SAP ABAP development efforts within the SAP logistics landscape
Support the implementation of a vendor drop-ship process (Longflow)
Provide technical leadership for a small team of 3 4 engineers
Coordinate and review work delivered by offshore development teams
Collaborate closely with supply chain EBD and EBS teams
Ensure development aligns with business process requirements and timelines
Act as a technical point of contact for logistics-related enhancements and fixes

Top 3 Must-Have Skills

Strong SAP background with deep ABAP expertise
Proven SAP ABAP technical/project leadership experience
Experience working with offshore development teams

Required Experience

10 years of overall SAP experience
Strong ABAP development background in SAP logistics-related modules
Experience leading development workstreams and mentoring developers
Comfortable interfacing with multiple business and technical teams

Additional Details

The client runs their own SAP environment
This role will report into SAP leadership and partner closely with supply chain stakeholders
