Job Title: Automotive Technician

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Automotive Technician located in Fair Lawn NJ. The Automotive Technician will be responsible for diagnosing repairing and maintaining a variety of vehicles to ensure their optimal performance and safety. Daily tasks include troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues performing general maintenance and inspections using diagnostic tools and delivering high-quality repairs. Technicians will also collaborate with team members to maintain an organized and professional work environment.

Qualifications

Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing automotive mechanical systems including engines brakes suspensions and transmissions
Experience with electrical systems diagnostics and troubleshooting
Knowledge of tire installation repair techniques and alignment services
Familiarity with using both manual and computerized diagnostic tools
Strong attention to detail problem-solving skills and ability to follow safety protocols
Effective communication skills to discuss repair needs with team members and customers
ASE certification or equivalent is preferred but not required
Minimum of high school diploma or GED; additional technical training or certifications are a plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced hands-on environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently
