- Leadership and Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of telecommunications engineers and technicians.
- Collaborate to develop and implement engineering strategies goals and objectives.
- Ensure timeline financial and quality compliance on projects
- Technical Oversight:
- Oversee the design of telecommunications systems.
- Understand and ensure compliance with industry standards regulations and best practices.
- Conduct technical reviews and provide guidance on complex engineering issues.
- Collaboration and Time Management:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously from initial concept through to completion.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including IT operations and external vendors.
- Prepare and present project status reports to senior management.
- Quality Assurance:
- Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure the reliability and performance of telecommunications systems.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address potential issues.
- Develop and enforce engineering standards and procedures.
- Customer Support:
- Provide technical support and expertise to internal and external customers.
- Address and resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely manner.
- Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Bachelors degree in Telecommunications Engineering Electrical Engineering or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in telecommunications engineering with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of telecommunications systems components and architecture.
- Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools such as ArcGIS Microsoft suite AutoCAD.
