Litigation Associate Attorney
About the Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for a Litigation Associate to join a well-established general practice law firm and take ownership of matters from pre-suit through appeal. You will work closely with experienced attorneys and benefit from strong administrative and legal support allowing you to focus on developing your legal skills strategy and client advocacy. Key Responsibilities:
- Handle litigation matters from pre-suit through trial and appeal
- Draft pleadings motions briefs and legal memoranda
- Conduct legal research and provide strategic analysis
- Participate in case preparation discovery and client communications
- Assist with transactional matters as needed
Qualifications & Experience:
- 2 years of litigation experience preferred
- Strong legal research writing and analytical skills
- Ability to manage files independently and meet deadlines
- Self-motivated proactive and detail-oriented
- Admitted to practice law (or eligible) in New York
