Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)
Shift: 1st Shift
Schedule: Monday through Thursday 5:30 AM 4:00 PM

Summary:

Member of the Greenville Support Operations (GSO) Aircraft Maintenance Team
Perform and assist with aircraft launch and recovery operations
Conduct preflight thru-flight and basic post-flight inspections
Perform ground handling aircraft maintenance engine runs operational checkouts and servicing
Troubleshoot install repair and maintain aircraft electromechanical and pneudraulic systems and components
Ensure serviceability and airworthiness of:
- Electrical systems
- Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Propulsion systems
- Landing gear
- Flight control systems
Conduct periodic inspections of:
- General airframe condition
- Aircraft furnishings
- Crew escape systems
Remove and install aircraft panels and associated hardware to access equipment requiring inspection maintenance or repair

Requirements:

The Production Flightline APG C-130 Mechanic must be knowledgeable in the operation and maintenance of the following aircraft systems:
- Landing gear
- Powerplants
- Flight controls
- Fueling and defueling operations
- Aircraft movement launch and recovery
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
