Technical Lead Backend

Position Title: Technical Lead Backend

Location: San Jose/Remote preferred candidates from the Bay Area.

Duration: 6 Months

Job Requirement

• Lead the Architecture Design and development and deployment of Scalable low latency and high throughput APIs

• Build and optimize high performance backend services in Go or Java or TypeScript/NodeJs and GraphQL APIs

• Drive front-end-applications using React and TypeScript ensuring clean reusable and scalable components

• Provide Technical Leadership by mentoring engineers reviewing code and fostering best practices

• Collaborate closely with product design and business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver impactful features

• Ensure System performance scalability and security through thoughtful design and proactive monitoring

• Define and implement engineering standards including testing strategies CI/CD and deployment best practices

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science Computer Engineering or similar

• 7 years of professional software development experience with at least 2 years in a technical leadership role

• Strong expertise in Go (Golang) or Java or NodeJS or similar backend language for software development

• Hand-on experience building and optimizing GraphQL APIs

• Proficiency in React and Typescript for modern web application

• Background in real-time systems caching strategies or event driven architectures

• Experience with databases (both SQL and Non SQL)

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS GCP or Azure) and Containerization (Docker Kubernetes)
