Job Summary

Education

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field required
Masters degree preferred
Equivalent professional experience may be accepted in lieu of formal education

Certifications

Snowflake and Python certifications preferred but not required

Technical Skills & Experience

Strong working knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases query authoring and database development
Experience building and optimizing data pipelines and datasets using scripting languages and ETL tools
Proven ability to perform data modeling and manage data warehouses
Experience manipulating processing and extracting insights from large disconnected datasets
Strong analytic capabilities including working with unstructured data
Experience building and consuming APIs to push and pull data between systems
Ability to perform root cause analysis to support business questions and identify improvement opportunities

Required Experience

3 years of related data engineering or IT experience
1 year of experience with Apache Spark Hadoop Java/Scala Python and AWS architecture
1 year of experience with technologies (C# Apache2 Ubuntu Default Page: It works ) and developing Windows and web applications
2 years of experience in data modeling and database development using PL/SQL SQL Server 2016 or later and Snowflake
1 year of experience building data pipelines and ETL workflows in cloud and on premise environments using tools such as Snowpipe Informatica Airflow Kafka or similar

Responsibilities

The Data Engineer will partner with cross functional business teams to deliver analytical and data solutions that drive business value and improve customer satisfaction. This role focuses on designing building maintaining and supporting scalable data solutions aligned with the companys architecture and analytics strategy.

Maintain and monitor analytics data warehouses and enterprise data platforms
Design implement test deploy and support secure scalable data pipelines and engineering solutions
Integrate new data sources into the central data warehouse and distribute data to applications and partners
Perform hands on development deployment maintenance and support of cloud and on premise data and web service solutions
Develop scalable reusable code to automate repetitive data management processes
Collaborate closely with project managers business analysts data scientists and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Partner with leadership and stakeholders to ensure data infrastructure meets evolving business needs
Continuously evaluate technical strategy identify gaps and propose innovative solutions
