Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and hands-on AV Engineer to support and maintain conference room and collaboration technologies in our Washington DC office. The ideal candidate will have strong experience deploying and supporting modern AV solutions with deep expertise in Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) and familiarity with Zoom Rooms. This is a fully onsite role requiring daily in-office presence.
Key Responsibilities
Design install configure and support conference room AV systems across multiple room types (huddle medium large conference rooms).
Deploy and maintain Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) solutions including Windows-based and Android-based systems.
Set up and support AV hardware such as:
Logitech (Rally Tap etc.)
Poly (Studio G-series controllers etc.)
Crestron (control systems touch panels DSPs)
Q-SYS / QSC (DSP programming audio signal flow tuning)
Troubleshoot audio video control and network-related issues in live meeting environments.
Provide onsite support during meetings executive sessions and high-visibility events.
Work closely with IT facilities and networking teams to ensure seamless room performance and uptime.
Perform regular system checks firmware updates and preventative maintenance.
Train end users on conference room technology and best practices.
Required Qualifications
2 3 years of hands-on experience in AV systems installation and support.
Strong expertise with Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) technology.
Experience deploying and supporting Logitech Poly Crestron and Q-SYS AV solutions.
Familiarity with Zoom Rooms and hybrid meeting environments.
Solid understanding of:
Audio signal flow and DSP concepts
Video conferencing systems
Control systems and touch panels
Basic networking concepts (IP VLANs PoE)
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
Ability to work independently in an onsite fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting executive or C-suite meeting spaces.
Familiarity with enterprise AV standards and room automation.
Work Environment
Fully onsite 5 days per week in the Washington DC office.
