As we expand into the Salt Lake City market we are seeking a fully licensed clinician to join us as a founding team member helping to establish and shape our presence in local schools and the surrounding community.

About the Role

The Behavior Therapist will provide individual clinically-based therapy services to school-aged children with a primary focus on school-based service delivery. This role requires a fully independently licensed clinician who is confident in assessment diagnosis treatment planning and ongoing therapeutic intervention.

Reporting to the Clinical Director you will manage a full caseload from intake through discharge collaborate closely with caregivers and internal partners and play an active role in shaping best practices as LivWell grows in this new market.

What Youll Do

  • Provide high-quality individual therapy to children and adolescents using evidence-based clinical modalities
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and diagnoses to inform treatment planning
  • Develop implement and adjust individualized treatment plans based on client needs and progress
  • Manage a full caseload from intake through discharge ensuring continuity of care
  • Participate in the intake process including gathering clinical history and identifying appropriate services
  • Provide crisis intervention and clinical support as needed
  • Collaborate with caregivers school partners and internal team members to support client outcomes
  • Maintain timely accurate clinical documentation progress notes and treatment plans within the EHR system (Reliatrax)
  • Monitor client progress and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions
  • Prepare clients for discharge by coordinating referrals and follow-up care
  • Participate in clinical supervision team meetings and ongoing professional development

What Were Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Masters degree in a behavioral health field
  • Fully independently licensed clinician (required)
    • LPC LCSW LMFT or CMHC
  • Ability to independently assess diagnose and treat behavioral and mental health conditions
  • Experience developing and executing treatment plans in a clinical (non-school-employed) setting
  • Strong clinical judgment organization and documentation skills
  • High level of professionalism and emotional intelligence
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team

Preferred Experience

  • 12 years of post-licensure clinical experience (internship experience considered)
  • Background in school-based or youth-focused therapy
  • Experience with one or more therapeutic modalities such as:
    • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
    • Expressive Arts Therapy
    • Other evidence-based clinical approaches
  • Familiarity with behavioral assessments paired with treatment planning
  • Experience using an EHR system
