Responsibilities
- Receive and process invoices using correct ledger accounts and department codes; verify payment approvalsfromdepartment managers
- Preparepayable checks timely; maintain accounts payable files in an organized manner
- Effectively present information tovendors or dealership personnel.
- Work under pressure in a fast paced high volume atmosphere.
- Backup coverage for Cashier and Receptionist
- Perform various other accounting responsibilities and business requirements as assigned.
- Receipt A/R payments and prepare the daily deposit send out monthly A/R statements.
- Work with the Service and Parts managers to collect outstanding receivables.
- Work with the cashiers to be sure the daily deposit balances
Qualifications
- Previous experience with Accounts Payable and/or Accounting required
- Previous experience with Reynolds and Reynolds Accounting System a plus
- Ability to provide quality customer service
- Willingness to take initiative
- Quality writing and grammar skills
- Computer literacy
- Ability to perform job responsibilities and meet deadlines easily
- Detailed follow up
- Professional appearance
- Must be a self starter with the ability to work independently but know when to ask for help
- Being proactive in your job responsibilities career business growth
