Detailed Description:

This is a full-time temporary benefit-based position with an anticipated end date of June 30 appointment is renewable at the discretion of the University and dependent upon performance and continued funding.

The Project Coordinator will work under the supervision of the Health Resource and Service Administration (HRSA) funded Project TeamUP Director and will be responsible for the operational management of the training grant and partnership development activities as well as all program evaluation data collection and reporting responsibilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist with HRSA monitoring and reporting:

  • Assist with data collection entry management and analyses for all project initiatives.
  • Assist with HRSA required reports and research evaluation efforts.
  • Attend monthly meetings with HRSA Project.
  • Support anynew grant applications.

Assistwith HRSA Project TeamUP student stipend allocation:

  • Assist with informational sessions for interested CMFT/HSON students.
  • Coordinate with CMFT and HSON staff to circulate application information to eligible students.
  • Manage the application portal and prepare applications for grant leadership to review.
  • Schedule and attend group interviews.
  • Communicate decisions to students.
  • Process student payment information and prepare quarterly stipend allocation payment requests.
  • Communicate with grants accounting and payroll as needed.

Assistwith student professional development funding allocation:

  • Develop and manage all application processes for identified professional development opportunities (e.g. conferences off-campus training).
  • Coordinate with CMFT and HSON staff to circulate announcements to students.
  • Prepare applications for project leadership review.
  • Communicate decisions to students.
  • Assist students with travel arrangements and reimbursement requests.
  • Provide professional support to current students.
  • Communicate with grants accounting and payroll as needed.

Assistwith student service-learning activities:

  • Solicit student interests and preferences.
  • Coordinate and communicate student assignments.
  • Collaborate with community partners to maintain mutually beneficial ongoing relationships.
  • Host and facilitate event run-throughs providing structured feedback on student content and delivery.
  • Support and attend student-lead workshops.

CoordinateContinuing Education Events:

  • Coordinate with event presenters to develop learning objectives.
  • Prepare announcements registration materials course evaluation forms and CE certificates according to CPA and NBCC requirements.
  • Develop and monitor the registration process and track requests for CE credits.
  • Enter and score evaluation data prepare evaluation and attendance reports and submit them to CPA/NBCC within the required deadline.
  • Monitor renewal cycle for CE approval.

Assistwith project-related event planning:

  • Schedule rooms for all relevant project events (e.g. stipend recipient meetings workshops seminars case simulation events).
  • Oversee registration and day-of logistics.

Overseeproject website maintenance:

  • Update project initiative information as needed.
  • Create MyPostings of project activities for USD-wide circulation (e.g. student spotlights alum updates professional development activities).
  • Prepare photos and videos for upload on website.
  • Assist with Digital Clinical Resource Library development and maintenance.
  • Communicate and coordinate with USD ITS- Web Services Team as needed.
  • Plan all program meetings including biannual Advisory Committee meetings and site meetings/trainings.

Assistwith prospective student and community outreach:

  • Collaborate with CMFT and SOLES admissions staff to support outreach and recruitment efforts as needed.

Degree Verification Requirement: Persons offered employment in this position will be required to provide official education transcripts for degree verification purposes.

Job Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in a related field and research experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in one of the targeted disciplines (MFT Counseling or Nurse Practitioner) is preferred.

Performance Expectations- Knowledge Skills andAbilities:

  • Strong ability to use software and implement programs to accommodate and enhance existing databases spreadsheets and tracking systems (e.g. G Suite Salesforce Qualtrics Cascade Panopto Concur Workday).
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse faculty staff students and administrators.
  • Some experience with program coordination or evaluation research.
  • Must possess strong organizational time management and analytical skills.
  • Must possess strong ability to function well independently taking initiative and setting priorities in a dynamic environment with frequent interruptions and deadlines.
  • Strong ability to prioritize workload effectively.
  • Demonstrated skill in both oral and written communications.
Posting Salary:

$35.00 - $36.00 per hour; Excellent Benefits

The salary range provided in this posting reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual compensation offered or earned is dependent on experience education and other factors including departmental budget.
