Job Summary

HockeyStack is an Applied AI company on a mission to automate sales marketing and customer success for B2B companies. We build the most complete and accurate picture of the B2B buyer by integrating with every tool your team uses partnering with third-party data providers and deploying custom AI research agents. We use this data to power applications that automate high-value high-complexity workflows across the go-to-market and revenue teams. Our core products include:

  • Marketing Intelligence instantly answers questions like What led to that sudden drop in pipeline

  • Account Intelligence surfaces next-best actions to help reps move target accounts toward conversion

Since launching in January 2023 weve come through Y Combinator raised a $26M Series A led by Bessemer. Were growing 3 year-over-year have hit multimillion ARR and process over 60 TB of GTM data monthly. Based at our San Francisco HQ we operate fully in-person move fast and hire people who are ready to win.

Your Mission

HockeyStack is growing fast with 3 revenue in the past year a breakout product and customers scaling just as quickly. Were hiring a Strategy & Operations Associate to support our Special Projects team. This is a high-impact highly visible role where youll help run core processes drive strategic initiatives and directly shape how we scale. Youll gain exposure across product operations and GTM strategy with a 360 view of how a high-growth SaaS startup operates.

This is a bootcamp for becoming a mini-COO future operator or founder someday.

What Youll Do

  • Take on the companys highest-leverage problems across product operations strategy and go-to-market.

  • Own critical initiatives end-to-end: define the problem run deep analysis make clear recommendations and drive execution.

  • Act as a force multiplier as the company scales; identifying patterns eliminating inefficiencies and building scrappy but durable solutions.

  • Partner closely with Customer Success Sales and Marketing to unblock execution and accelerate growth.

  • Design and implement processes tools and systems that scale with the business not against it.

  • Operate with extreme range and ownership: one week shaping product or GTM strategy the next supporting a customer analysis or pressure-testing pricing and unit economics.

  • Background in top-tier consulting investment banking or strategy (required)

  • Exceptional ownership mindset: you move quickly operate independently and follow through relentlessly

  • Builders instinct: you dont just diagnose problems you create and implement solutions

  • High intellectual curiosity and adaptability; excited to learn every function of a fast-growing startup

  • Low-ego high-output teammate who thrives in fast-paced unstructured environments

As part of our San Francisco California-based team the on target earnings range for this role is $110000 $150000 USD annually depending on experience and qualifications.
