Our client in the agritech space is looking for a General Manager to lead their North American team in the Greater Des Moines IA area. You will run day-to-day operations while keeping one eye on the numbers and the other on execution of service delivery sales performance accountability and a steady operating rhythm for a 3040 person team. This role sits at the intersection of people leadership and business leadership; aligning priorities across sales/service/operations and being the point person for ownership in Europe.

To succeed youll need the judgment to know when to collaborate when to escalate and when to say no with facts and calm confidence. Ideal candidates bring broad hands-on leadership across operations and commercial execution are comfortable negotiating high-value deals and can improve cross-border communication without creating friction. Oversee all daily operations to ensure efficiency profitability and high service standards
Lead mentor and motivate managers and staff across sales service and operations
Improve communication cadence and alignment with European HQ stakeholders
Own budgets forecasts and financial reporting for the region
Drive revenue growth through key account relationships and deal support
Strengthen processes accountability and policy adherence across teams
Track market trends and competitor activity to guide regional strategy
Travel to customers job sites and global partners as business needs arise

7 years of senior leadership or general management experience required
Proven experience overseeing operations sales and financial performance required
5 years of Agriculture or Manufacturing industry experience required
Project planning budgeting P&L management and scheduling experience required
Experience working with European-owned / international HQs required
