About the Position:
We are currently seeking an HRIS Administrator to provide value-added services on the HRIS Team. The HRIS Administrative Assistant will provide high-level administrative support. This role requires a proactive organized and detail-oriented professional who can manage sensitive information with discretion. The HRIS Administrative Assistant will also be responsible for a variety of general office administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations within the HRIS department and the broader office environment. Some of the duties and responsibilities of the position are but not limited to:
Accountability
- Demonstrate accountability by taking ownership of assigned tasks and projects delivering results with accuracy and timeliness.
- Monitor and maintain data quality accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Provide daily administrative support to HRIS Team including new hire processing employee changes and benefit accounting related items.
Communication
- Foster open communication and collaboration within the HR team and across departments to promote a culture of transparency and trust.
- Greet visitors answer incoming calls and direct inquiries appropriately in a professional and courteous manner.
Family
- Uphold a sense of family by supporting colleagues promoting inclusivity and contributing to a positive work environment.
Exceptional Service
- Provide exceptional service to internal and external customers anticipating their needs and delivering solutions with professionalism and empathy.
- Provide user support for data access password retrieval and any questions regarding system usage.
- Identify and resolve data management issues.
- Assist in compliance audits and documentation management for regulatory and policy adherence (e.g. I-9 forms benefit enrollments).
Profitability
- Contribute to the organizations profitability by optimizing HRIS processes minimizing errors and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure data integrity by performing regular audits and corrections.
- Maintain HR/Benefit records personnel files and employee databases in compliance with legal and organizational standards.
- Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies handling mail distribution coordinating office maintenance requests and maintaining an
organized filing system.
About YOU:
- 1 year of administrative support experience preferably in an HR/HRIS environment.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively..
- High level of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word PowerPoint); familiarity with HRIS systems is a plus. Excel skills: Intermediate to advanced required (Pivot Tables Vlookup)
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail organization and a commitment to accuracy and quality.
Physical Requirements:
- This position operates in a professional office environment.
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk hear sit stand and use hands and fingers.
- Occasionally required to lift office products and supplies up to 20 pounds.
