POSITION SUMMARY

PRO*ACT is looking for a motivated Procurement Intern who is eager to learn and develop within the fresh produce industry. This internship offers hands-on exposure to purchasing supplier relationships inventory coordination and market dynamics in a fast-paced real-world environment.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

Assist the procurement team with day-to-day administrative tasks
Coordinate information between procurement operations and accounting teams
Help compile simple reports and spreadsheets related to orders and inventory
Assist with special projects as needed to support the department
Gain exposure to how market conditions seasonality and quality impact purchasing decisions

Requirements

What Were Looking For

Interest in agriculture supply chain or the fresh produce industry
Strong communication and organizational skills
Detail-oriented and reliable
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a related program (preferred but not required)
