Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Estimator to join our growing team. This role is responsible for preparing accurate quantity take-offs submitting complete bid packages and supporting contract negotiations for construction projects. The ideal candidate is organized proactive and thrives in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and submit comprehensive bid packages within required deadlines

Ensure all required bid documentation is complete and compliant

Review project specifications and evaluate requirements such as hiring goals participation targets material grades and approved manufacturers
-
Communicate effectively with contractors project stakeholders and internal teams
-
Attend pre-bid meetings and site walkthroughs as required
-
Support negotiation of contract pricing and terms
-
Maintain organized project documentation and bid records
Basic Qualifications

Positive attitude with strong individual and team-oriented work ethic

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
-
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications (Higher Compensation Considered)

Bachelors degree in Architecture Civil or Structural Engineering Construction Management or related field

Experience in the structural steel and miscellaneous metals industry

Strong negotiation and analytical skills
-
Self-motivated ambitious and eager to grow professionally

Industry knowledge and technical understanding of construction processes

Salary range: $60000 $80000 per year (based on experience and qualifications)
