Job Summary
Job Description
Were looking for a backend engineer with to build secure scalable APIs and platform integrations. Youll lead authentication/authorization implementations (Okta OAuth/OIDC/SAML) modernize legacy access policies and deliver resilient services onAzure/Kuberneteswith productiongrade observability.
Key Responsibilities
Design build and services andREST APIswith robust reliability performance and security.
Implementauthentication & authorizationusingOkta APIs; handletoken/sessionlifecycle and hardening.
Migrate SiteMinder policiesto modern identity/access patterns (OIDC/SAML/OAuth 2.0).
Integrate securely with internal and externalplatform servicesand data sources.
OwnAPI design(standards versioning documentation) error handling idempotency and rate limiting.
Ensure comprehensiveautomated testing(unit integration system regression) and CI/CD health.
Operate services onAzurewithKubernetes(containerization helm/manifests secrets config scaling).
ImplementobservabilitywithSplunkandDatadog(dashboards s SLOs).
Collaborate with Security/Architecture onthreat modeling secrets management and compliance.
Continuously improve code quality reliability and developer experience.
Required Qualifications
5 yearsof backend development with a strong focus (TypeScript preferred) and API engineering.
Proven experience implementingOktabasedauth flows; deep familiarity withOAuth 2.0 OIDC SAML.
Solid knowledge oftoken/session management(PKCE refresh tokens rotation revocation scopes).
Handson experience buildingRESTfulservices and integrating with thirdparty/internal platforms.
Proficiency withdatastores:RDBMS(e.g. PostgreSQL/SQL Server) andMongoDB(schema design indexing performance).
Experience deploying toAzureand orchestrating workloads onKubernetes(containers networking ingress resilience).
Practical use ofSplunkandDatadogfor logs/metrics/traces; creating actionable dashboards/s.
Strong testing discipline:unit integration system regressionand contract testing.
Comfortable with modernSDLC tooling:Jira Confluence Git Jenkins(SVN experience a plus).
Bachelors degree (BE MCA or equivalent) inComputer Science Engineering or related field.
