Job Summary
Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Indiana Department of Correction.
We are seeking Substance Abuse/Drug and Alcohol Treatment Professionals to serve as the Addiction Recovery Specialist in a full-time position at Plainfield Correctional Facility in Plainfield Indiana.
Pay Rate $24.01-$26.44 per hour depending on certification and experience
Bachelors in Human Services or related field is required. CADACII certification (or higher LAC LAC-A) is required or the ability to obtain within 24 months of hire
The Addiction Recovery Specialist provides supportive substance abuse treatment and rehabilitation services to patients within a correctional facility through outpatient treatment addiction recovery education and group counseling.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in human services fieldrequired
- Certified Alcohol and Drug Addiction Consultant (CADAC II LAC LAC-A LSW) or higher certification/licensureor the ability to obtain within 24 months of hiring date
- Must show/obtain current tuberculosis screening documentation and active CPR first-aid Basic Life Support (BLS) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use certification
- Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable
