Job Description:
Summary / purpose of the position
The Commercial Lead Rare Diseases is responsible for the end-to-end commercial management of the rare disease portfolio in the Czech Republic including marketing strategy brand management and active field engagement with key centers. This role combines strategic marketing responsibility with hands-on expert field activities and close collaboration with centers of excellence and key stakeholders. The primary objective is to increase disease awareness optimize the patient journey and ensure optimal patient access to treatment applying a patient-centric approach and operating in full compliance.

Main responsibilities / job expectations
Achieves defined business and activity objectives by combining strategic stakeholder engagement with active contribution to disease awareness center development referral pathways and patient access optimization.
- Strategic Marketing & Brand Management (Rare Diseases)
- Develop and implement marketing and brand strategy in line with global and local strategies
- Prepare brand plans and tactical plans including KPIs
- Identify growth opportunities across diagnosis treatment and patient care pathways
- Contribute to launch readiness and market shaping activities
- Field Responsibility Key Centers & Expert Engagement
- Actively cover key centers including centers of excellence and specialized sites
- Identify and support development of new potential treatment centers
- Support peripheral centers in collaboration with Sales team (KAMs)
- Collect and share actionable insights from the field
- Disease Awareness & Patient Journey Management (in collaboration with Medical Affairs)
- Initiate and coordinate disease awareness campaigns
- Optimize the patient journey including diagnosis referral access and follow-up
- Develop and distribute educational and referral tools for healthcare professionals
- Identify barriers to diagnosis and treatment and propose solutions
- Stakeholder & KOL Management
- Build and maintain compliant relationships with KOLs medical societies and patient organizations
- Collaborate on scientific meetings seminars congresses and advisory boards
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Medical Sales Market Access and Regulatory teams
- Translate field insights into marketing and access strategies
- Omnichannel & Digital Engagement
- Support and execute omnichannel initiatives (webinars e-details digital campaigns)
- Leverage digital tools to enhance stakeholder engagement
- Compliance & Ethics
- Ensure compliance with AIFP Code of Ethics relevant local regulations and internal policies
- Maintain ethical and transparent stakeholder interactions
- Reporting & Performance Management
- Provide regular reporting on commercial and marketing performance
- Analyze KPIs and propose optimization measures
Knowledge & experience requirements
Education / Certifications
- University Degree preferably in Healthcare or Science
Experience
- 3 years of experience as Product / Brand Manager in innovative healthcare sector
- Experience (Key Account Manager or Sales Specialist) in innovative healthcare sector is an advantage
- At least 2 years of experience in rare diseases or specialty care
- Experience with product launches and complex markets
- Proven experience with omnichannel and digital activities and project planning
- Proven track record in account management patient access initiatives awareness campaigns
- Experience in and knowledge of specialty markets with complex science and reimbursement
- Experience with full commercial product support covering marketing as well as sales responsibilities
- Ability to work in a matrix organization good team player with advanced communication skills
Languages
- Fluency in English Advanced level
