Job Title: Galderma Summer 2026 Intern: Pharmaceutical Consumer Marketing

Location: Boston MA

Salary: $30.00/hour

Description

As part of Galdermas Internship Program the NEMLUVIO Consumer Marketing Intern will support the Consumer Marketing team by contributing to competitive intelligence digital analytics and patient experience insights. This role provides hands-on exposure to brand strategy digital marketing and consumer insights within a global dermatology organization.

This internship is ideal for a student who is analytical curious about consumer behavior digitally savvy and interested in how data and insights inform brand and marketing decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Conduct a competitive landscape assessment including review of competitor claims across:

    • Healthcare Professional (HCP) materials

    • Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) marketing

    • Digital and social media channels

    • Competitive market research reports

  • Analyze competitor strengths weaknesses and positioning to inform strategic recommendations for NEMLUVIO.

  • Support the development of a competitor assessment report summarizing findings and insights.

  • Gain exposure to digital analytics tools and reports to understand how data informs brand strategy and tactical optimization.

  • Assist in analyzing digital performance metrics to identify opportunities for media and message optimization.

  • Support social listening efforts to gather patient insights and enhance the patient journey map from symptom onset through treatment initiation.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners including Marketing Digital and Insights teams.

  • Assist in analyzing digital performance metrics to identify opportunities for media and message optimization.

  • Participate in team meetings and project reviews providing updates on assigned tasks.

  • Uphold Galdermas values through proactive communication collaboration and attention to detail.

Learning Objectives:

Interns will gain exposure and hands-on experience in:

  • Consumer marketing strategy and competitive intelligence in the pharmaceutical and dermatology space.

  • Applying digital analytics to inform brand and marketing decisions.

  • Understanding how insights from social listening shape patient experience strategies.

  • Translating data and research into clear actionable recommendations.

  • Building executive-ready reports and presentations.

  • Strengthening analytical thinking storytelling and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Deliverables:

  • Competitor assessment report outlining key claims positioning and strategic insights Stakeholder feedback summaries and integrated updates to materials.

  • Enhanced patient journey map informed by social listening insights.

  • Media optimization recommendations based on digital analytics reports.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelors or masters degree program in Marketing Business Communications Analytics or a related field.

  • Strong interest in consumer marketing digital marketing brand strategy or healthcare/pharmaceutical industries.

  • Excellent analytical and research skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights and recommendations.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint Excel Word); familiarity with digital analytics or social listening tools is a plus.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
