2026 Corporate Communications Summer Analyst Program (New York)

The Corporate Communications Summer Analyst will play a pivotal role in enhancing our digital communications and operational efficiency. This position involves supporting the evolution of internal communications platforms improving digital content delivery supporting Internal Communications campaigns and optimizing operational procedures. The Summer Analyst will work closely with both external and internal communications teams to gain exposure to various functions within Corporate Communications and develop practical skills through projects and mentorship.

This 10-week Corporate Communications internship offers a rich hands-on learning experience through impactful projects that contribute to real business outcomes. Please note that the program is experiential-only and does not transition into a full-time role.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Communications Support: Provide planning and execution support for internal communications and integrated campaigns aimed at engaging employees across the Firm. This includes leveraging digital platforms to enhance reach and impact.
  • Content Development and Management: Prepare and manage written and visual content for the firms intranet and other digital formats. This involves understanding business events firmwide initiatives and ensuring timely and relevant content delivery.
  • Digital Platform Management: Assist in the management of the firms digital communications platforms including the intranet site. Responsibilities include publishing content moderating interactions and optimizing user engagement through effective content management systems.
  • Operational Efficiency: Document operational policies and procedures in collaboration with communications teams. Identify and implement strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness of internal communications.
  • Performance Measurement: Support the ongoing assessment and measurement of internal communications programs to gauge effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Pursuing a Bachelors degree with a graduation date between December 2026 - June 2027
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and track record of academic excellence.
  • Independent and Teamwork: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Must be a self-starter with a can-do attitude and a results-driven mindset. Comfort working with others asking questions and contributing to team settings.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor and a positive attitude.
  • Curiosity & Willingness to Learn: Ideal for students or early-career candidates that are excited to build new skills and explore the communications field.
  • Project Management and Multitasking: Proven project management skills with an ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and maintain attention to detail.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in digital tools and platforms including Microsoft Word Excel and content management systems relevant to internal communications.

Expected base pay rate for the role will be $33.66 per hour at the commencement of employment. However base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package which depending on the position may also include commission earnings incentive compensation discretionary bonuses other short and long-term incentive packages and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
