The Maintenance Technician is primarily responsible for interior building repairs at facilities located in Minneapolis. This role focuses on diagnosing issues performing skilled repairs and completing construction-related projects to maintain safe functional and durable facilities. Preventive maintenance may be requested but is secondary to repair and improvement work.
Candidates must provide their own tools operate their own vehicle (capable of transporting construction materials) and demonstrate the ability to plan and execute repair and construction projects that are long-lasting and deliver the best value to the organization.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform skilled building repair and construction work including plumbing electrical HVAC flooring and mechanical systems.
Diagnose building issues and implement effective durable repair solutions.
Complete interior and exterior repairs to maintain building integrity safety and appearance.
Perform preventive maintenance as assigned to support long-term facility operation.
Maintain accurate records of receipts and mileage in accordance with reimbursement procedures.
Ensure all work is completed safely efficiently and to a high standard of quality.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
