DescriptionThe Global Conferences: Curriculum Full-time Intern is an integral part of the FSY team. You will be part of a team that serves over 400000 youth and young single adults around the world every year. The primary focus of this internship will be developing and evaluating curriculum which includes conference handbooks class and devotional outlines and other activities held at conferences.
The internship is in the Priesthood and Family Department. It will be 40 hours a week and will run for one year. This position requires in person work at the Church Office Building in Salt Lake City Utah. A hybrid schedule may be available depending on arrangements made with hiring staff at the time of hire.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Global Conference team and other departments to develop and evaluate pilot programs and improve future offerings
- Critically evaluate information from international areas to evaluate curriculum and events to identify needs and opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with various Church workforce departments (Missionary Seminaries and Institutes Family History Welfare and Self Reliance and so on) to create curriculum for conferences around the world
- Provide ideas innovation and editing of global FSY handbooks to be used by youth and young single adult staff
- Other assignments as needs arise

QualificationsApplicants for this internship must be currently enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited college or university or they must have recently finished a degree from an accredited college or university (within one year of beginning their internship). They must sign a Paid Internship Engagement Letter. Other required qualifications include:
- Strong understanding of Church doctrine history organization policy and a love of the gospel of Jesus Christ
- The ability to manage many projects simultaneously
- The ability to give careful attention to detail sustain concentration for long periods of time and maintain the highest level of accuracy
- The ability to work well with people and present an image of professionalism
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications:
- Preference will be given to applicants who are taking classes in or have experience with curriculum and instruction experience design instructional design and/or user experience
- Ability to speak a foreign language
