Position Summary
The Unclaimed Property Intern provides general administrative and project support to the Unclaimed Property Compliance team particularly during peak filing seasons. This internship is designed to offer hands-on exposure to unclaimed property consulting by supporting day-to-day administrative activities and observing how consultants manage client engagements. The Intern will develop foundational knowledge of unclaimed property compliance processes while building professional skills in a collaborative consulting environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide general administrative support to the Unclaimed Property team including data entry document preparation and file organization.
Assistwith gathering organizing andmaintainingdocumentation related to unclaimed property projects.
Support consultants with routine administrative tasks to help ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule.
Maintain organized records andassistwith tracking project materials and internal deliverables.
Sit in on select client calls internal meetings and training sessions to gain exposure to consulting practices and project management.
Learn basic unclaimed property concepts terminology andcomplianceworkflows through hands-on support and observation.
Assistwith special projects and othertasks asassigned to support team needs.
Track and respond to phone and email communications from recipients of issued lettersmaintainingdetailed documentation and ensuring consistent follow-through.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recent graduate of an Associates or Bachelors degree in Business Administration Accounting Finance or a related field.
No prior professional experience required; administrative office or internship experience is a plus.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel and Word.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to follow instructions manage time effectively and work in a team-oriented environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
