Job Summary

The Advice and Wealth Management (AWM) division and Competitive Intelligence team is seeking candidates who can bring structure to complex problems and use objective rigorous analysts to drive toward the right answers to AWMs most pressing strategy this role youll shape insights influence decisions and help AWM grow and extend the Vanguard effect advancing our mission to give all investors the best chance for investment success.

Responsibilities:

Develops and leads complex business strategic competitive and product analyses. Consults independently define the business problem issues and planned approach for research and analyses. Leads work planning and business problem diagnosis coaching less experienced business strategy analysts in best practices and building business acumen.
Synthesizes analyses key findings and potential solutions into actionable recommendations. Works with senior managers in the business to prepare and deliver materials including presentations white papers case studies etc.
Interprets and analyzes highly complex data using business acumen in order to derive key insights. Verifies the quality accuracy and reasonableness of the data. Displays organizes and crafts data into a compelling storyline with actionable insight for the business.
Stays abreast of industry market and business competitive trends. Supports efforts to keep the senior management team informed of key industry competitive and product trends. Recommends new and enhanced capabilities and services.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.
Minimum of five years related work experience.
Strong knowledge of the Advice & Wealth Management (AWM) industry including evolving client needs competitive dynamics and key market trends. Direct experience contributing to or developing business strategy is strongly preferred.
Proven ability to break down complex problems through structured quantitative and qualitative analysis. Experience in delivering clear datadriven insights that inform strategic decisions. Experience with market research competitive intelligence or building business cases is preferred.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex analytical findings into concise wellstructured presentations memos and narratives suitable for senior audiences.
