Job Description

Key Responsibilities May Include:

  • Manage and lead the Asset Control team ensuring full compliance with company policies asset control standards and audit procedures.
  • Oversee and conduct regular asset audits to ensure accurate inventory control monitoring stocks flows and identifying leakage ratios for immediate action.
  • Develop and implement asset protection strategies including conducting forensic investigations to mitigate fraud asset misuse and other risks.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Sales and Operations to enhance asset recovery processes and provide data-driven insights to improve asset productivity.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) including audit outcomes asset recovery rates and overall asset management metrics.
  • Analyze customer behaviors and data trends to identify audit triggers and opportunities for continuous process improvements and efficiency gains.
  • Provide training coaching and development to the Asset Control team ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to meet team and departmental objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental standards promoting a culture of Zero Harm throughout all asset management activities.

The Team Lead Asset Control & Audit Process provides daytoday leadership coordination and project management support for the Asset Control & Audit Process function. This role supports the Manager by overseeing progress of the National Audit Plan ensuring thirdparty audit partner performance leading key initiatives and maintaining team alignment to operational goals. The Team Lead acts as an analytical and operational extension of leadership supporting ongoing improvements in asset controls variance analysis and audit efficiency.

This role combines handson analytical work with team coordination project leadership and stakeholder communication.

Leadership & Team Coordination

  • Guide daily workflow and priorities for Senior Analysts and supporting third-party teams to ensure timely execution of National Audit Plan
  • Monitor team workload identify bottlenecks and escalate risks proactively.
  • Provide coaching onboarding support and skillbuilding for analysts in audit execution variance analysis and data quality.
  • Ensure consistent application of audit methodology controls and reporting standards across the team.

Project & Initiative Management

  • Lead or colead key initiatives related to audit process improvement automation leakage reduction and inventory accuracy.
  • Manage project timelines deliverables stakeholder alignment and communication for department initiatives.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations for leadership and crossfunctional partners summarizing progress findings and recommendations.
  • Track action items and drive accountability across contributing functions (Sales Controllership Customer Success Asset Productivity).

Oversight of Third-Party Audit Partner

  • Serve as primary liaison with the thirdparty audit vendor for customer and plant audits.
  • Monitor execution quality SLA compliance coverage audit standard adherence and billing accuracy.
  • Validate escalation findings resolve issues and ensure consistent performance and communication from the vendor.
  • Participate in vendor performance reviews and support RFP or bidding processes when required.

Audit Execution Support & Analytical Quality

  • Review and validate key analysesvariance drivers leakage indicators KPI trends yearoveryear comparisons.
  • Ensure audit closures occur within policy timelines and escalate barriers early.
  • Provide subjectmatter expertise to clarify procedures policy methodology and exception handling.

Cross Functional Partnership & Communication

  • Collaborate with Sales Finance Controllership Customer Success and Asset Productivity to drive timely closure of inventory disputes.
  • Prepare clear concise presentations and support discussions regarding audit progress project status and variance trends for leadership.
