Join our Wastewater (Sewage) team as a frontline Technician Apprentice and play a vital role in keeping our sites and equipmentoperatingsafely reliably and efficiently. This is your chance to build along-termcareer with Anglian Water and make a real impact on the environment and our communities.
Youllsplit your time between college learning andhands-onexperience across our operational sites.Youllsupport the wastewater recycling processcollectingtreatingand cleaning wastewater before returning it safely to our rivers and seas.
This is a practical outdoor role where no two days are the same.Itsvaried rewarding and occasionally challenging butyoullbe part of a supportive team who will help you grow into a skilled technician. Once qualifiedyoulljoin a24/7 standby rotabecause your role is vital.

Supportwith alarm calls out (when trained)
Aim to provide a 1sttime fix for faults
Workand learnalongside experiencedmechanicaland electricaltechnicians and follow health & safety rules

Whatwerelooking for
English Maths and Science (grades 94/A*C) - predicted grades will be accepted if you have not yet completed your exams. Level 2 Functional Skills will also be accepted.
A genuine interest in the water industry and protecting the environment
Good communicationskills anda strong teammindset
Willingness to work outdoors and learn new skills
If you do not currently hold a full UK drivinglicenceyoullneed to obtain one by the end of year two of theprogramme or if thisisntpossible due to your age within one year of your 17th birthday.
