About you and this role
We are looking for an ambitious masters student (m/f) to support ourresearch in thePackaging & Specialty Plastics business (P&SP) through an internship project at our location in Tarragona Spainor Wiesbaden Germany.P&SP is committed to being innovative inclusive customer-centric and sustainability-driven. We focus on developingnew technologiesand applications to deliver value growth while making a positive impact on society and the planet.
You will work on complextop-notchR&Dinnovationprojects related to polyethylene polyolefin elastomers functional ethylene copolymersrecycledmaterialsand/orcompounded products with guidance from experienced supervisors and support from our organization.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilitieswill include:
- performing a thorough literature review
- settingthehypothesisandbuildingthe design ofexperiment
- taking care of generatingsignificant results interpretingthemanddrivingusefulconclusions.
Qualifications
- Currentlypursuing amasters degree or equivalent inengineering (chemicalmaterialsandmechanicalpreferred)chemistry ormaterial science.
- Good working knowledge of English.(Knowledge ofSpanish Germanor French is a plus.)
- Laboratoryexperienceincluding physical testing and/orextrusionisadvantageous.

- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Critical thinking troubleshooting and organizational skills are desired.
- Enthusiasticrespectful ofproject deadlines and a good team player.
- Passion for materials and polymer science along with innovative ideas.

The internship is for 6-9 months startinginthe firsthalfof2026with possible starting date betweenApril and October(exact timingflexible andto be discussed).Based on performance during thisinternshipa conversion into a permanent role in Dow will be explored taking into account your preferences& Dowsneeds.

Selection Process:
- Introductory Call with HR: selected candidates will have an introductory call with an HR member to evaluate their eligibility andmotivation.
