  • Expert knowledge of the Ordre des travailleurs sociaux et thérapeutes conjugaux et familiaux (OTSTCFQ) and American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) codes of ethics norms of record keeping and Quebec/Canadian professional legal and administrative jurisdictions regulating professional conduct of marriage and family therapists;
  • Ethics in family and couple therapy including philosophical basis for making ethics decisions increase competence in handing legal issues relevant to the practice including confidentiality dangerousness malpractice and expert testimony;
  • Application of ethical principles to the field of couple and family therapy; role of professional associations and orders; ethics and therapeutic models; ethical management of high risk situations; dual relationships; divorce and ethics; family mediation; divorce and ethics; ethics and situations of elevated risk; private practice and ethics; ethics and spirituality.
